The world accorded to Olive

“For me the taking drugs and excessive drinking were the result of pyschological spiritual or mental condition…
If you have the disease or illness of addiction or alcoholism the best way to tackle it is not to use drugs of any form….

Abstinence based recovery is the best solution for people suffering from this condition…” Russel brand.

Oh, nothing has it.  Wherever you go, you are self-contained and entirely responsible to having the freedom of choice… unless you have a “pyschological, spiritual or mental condition

So that’s why you don’t need to see heroine and crack-cocaine on the shelves in brightly colored packaging, it is damage from within, yet the socialists still write of a universe defined as damage from without:

“There’s a reason why we should admire the ad men of the 1950s. They managed to pull off the trick of making smoking, something fundamentally damaging and disgusting, appear both glamorous and gratifying. According to an American Medical Association report, by the mid-80s even five- and six-year-olds were better at recognising Joe Camel, the mascot of the Camel brand, than they were Mickey Mouse or Barbie.” – Guardian.

No, people like Edward Bernays tapped into people’s insecurities and sense of inadequacy.  He would have got you to buy anything if he saw your weakness before you did, before someone good revealed to you the light of your malaise.  Such are the wicked abusers who destroy a world for profit.  These High Priests and Priestesses see you coming.

So what have today’s social-controllers come up with?

There’s a reason why we should admire the socialists of the 1980s. They managed to pull off the trick of making anal-sex, something fundamentally damaging and disgusting, appear both glamorous and gratifying. According to an American Medical Association report, by the mid-90s even five- and six-year-olds were better at recognising camel toe, the mascot of the carnal brand, than they were Mickey Mouse or Barbie.     Gender Diversity.

I had read that the Australian government made it mandatory that all cigarette brands to use this design with those pictures, the only identifier as to the brand being the name spelled out on the package, and I was horrified. Big Government v. Big Business, each fighting for the simple-minded’s vote or $$$. Vote or $$$ = power. Bernay’s and his contemporaries’ whole deal was that people needed to be protected from themselves by the government, that they weren’t smart enough to make good choices and had to be gently persuaded (subliminally) to make them.
